This week the session will be led by Bruce (and Friends). The selected tunes are ones that are likely to be played at the Halloween Céilí on the following Saturday (19th October). We will play them in dance fashion: each tune in the set played twice through and then returning to the first tune, to be played once through.
Our céilí band is well led by Pat and Liam and everyone is welcome to join us on stage and play the tunes they are comfortable with. It is a great opportunity to see how the music fits in with the dance steps and get a sense of the rhythm of traditional Irish music.
Session runs from 8 -11 pm
